General Usage Guide

A more detailed guide is contained within each document.

The Greatest Gift Life Portfolio is designed to provide you and your loved ones with a general guide to your Financial, Personal, and Medical Affairs in the event of your death or incapacitation.

It is probably most convenient to complete all documents together and have them witnessed at the same time, however this is not a requirement and each can be completed independently and witnessed by different witnesses.

Each section of your Greatest Gift Life Portfolio must be bound or securely stapled to form a unified whole whose pages are not easily detached or added, and you and your Witnesses must initial all pages and provide full signatures where space has been provided to accommodate these as and where indicated within each document.

Complete all fields in each document using a black-ink ballpoint pen. In the event that a response field is not required or is not relevant to your needs ensure that it is crossed out by using a simple “Z” pattern of ruled lines, as also any unused area within a field. Response fields are shown as white areas within each document.

When working with your Advance Health Directive it will pay to give it as much consideration as possible BEFORE taking it to your Doctor for signing and completion as it will minimise the time spent by your Doctor and therefore your costs.

The “Important Contacts” and “Personal Notes and Messages” sections are “general conversation” areas only and are not components of a Legal Document. They therefore do not require the same attention to legal detail as do the other sections. No signatures are required, and blank spaces may be left to allow you to add further content at a later date.

The segmented structure of My Greatest Gift allows the completion of each independent section for photocopying and distribution to the relevant interested parties, Please ensure the Master of each document is kept in safe and secure storage and that at least one other person is aware of its location. These documents have been provided to help you make their completion a family affair. We sincerely believe that, if appropriate to age group, family discussion and focus on the documents contents can generate good will, understanding, and bonding within your family. Important Printing Information

My Greatest Gift Life Portfolio documents are provided to you in on-line printable PDF format and the presentation is covered by copyright. They can only be printed as already described and can not be printed for distribution by you.

The Documents can not be completed on-line. They must be printed then completed using black biro. Printing is best done in colour, however each document can be printed in black and white if preferred. We recommend that you store your completed original as well as the spare away from direct light as non-commercial inks tend to fade over time in the presence of direct light.

For maximum impact we suggest printing the cover of each document onto 280 gsm Premium Photo Gloss paper, and the documents themselves on 100-120 gsm Satin paper, printed one sided only.

There are three covers and approximately 68 pages per complete Life Portfolio. Four copies will require four times these numbers, plus spares to allow for printing errors.

Personal Passwords are Required to Open the Document Files

A set of Passwords is required to open each file for printing. The same Passwords open all three files. These Passwords will expire 3  days after you receive your access email. After this time you will have no further access to the Document Files.

To use these Documents you must first Agree to the following ..

By accessing the files and printing the documents they contain you agree;

	*	That you have read this section and our Disclaimer and that you clearly understand their contents;
	*	That you can make NO MORE THAN FOUR printed copies of each document;
	*	That you can only use these printed copies to create My Greatest Gift Life Portfolios for the personal use of two persons within your Household or Family. (Two printed sets of each document are allowed per person to provide an original plus a spare copy of each document.)
	*	That your Link to the document files has a lifespan of 3 days from the date of your My Greatest Gift Download Email and that you must make your printed copies of all documents within this time;
	*	That the My Greatest Gift document files can not be accessed by you after this time
